So we go to have doody for the weekend. (Doody is Mavrick, our puppy) He’s so much more well behaved than he used to be hahaha I guess cause we had him before he got nutered, and he’s been sick and doesn’t have a lot of energy still.. but we had fun. We went to the dog park while Alex was at football practice and he had a lot of fun, there was an Irish Setter, she was soooo pretty. Her name is Ruby and she just absolutely LOVED Mavrick! haha they played and ran around it was cute! And then there was a little 7 week old pug named Truman he was soooo cute! haha This big dog barked at Truman and he just peed himself hahaha he was tiny! We had a lot of fun though. The Taylorsville dog park is awesome! We’ll probably take him there more often. We had a lot of fun. Oh! There was this dog named Rocko and he was a… I don’t remember, a collie or something, only shorter.. he had long fur though and he found a mud puddle and we thought he was going to drink it and we’re like “No, don’t drink that, that’s gross” but he didn’t drink it, he plopped right down in it and rolled to his side! lol We found his owner and told her that her dog was taking a mud bath and she’s just like “oh no! not again!” lol apparently he does that every time they go there lol
When we got home we filled up our 2 foot pool and got in and Mavrick jumped right in! haha we were really surprised cause he normally doesn’t really like water but I guess he wanted to be with us and it was really hot lol.. but he jumped in trotted around for a minute or two and then jumped out! lol it was funny. I wasn’t going to put him in this time, since he’s just getting over being sick.
He slept a lot. He took a loooong nap in my bed while I was cleaning. He still likes to follow me around everywhere though and that made me happy! And dang it! I couldn’t find my camera! I was so mad! but I lifted him up to say hi to Chi-chi and they just sniffed each other, so she must have missed him cause she didnt’ try to bite his nose off! lol
And then I had to go to bed cause I had to work this morning, but Tyson took Mav home last night and he said that he cried when he left =*( he just jumped up on the screen door and watched him go and he howled =( sad! I’m going to pick him up on Saturday or Monday though (next week) cause I have my vacation and I’m going to keep him for like a whole week! I miss him like crazy! He’s such a good dog! I love him! I miss my baby! =(
